yes yes i did it! i fially got the piercing ive wanted since forever. id always chicken out.. but today i did it! it was painful for a min but then it was fine. omg.. i luv it! :)

today was a mad day, went to basheer got the book, ate a pancake, went for dinner.. but i got too angry at one point and ... i dont even wanna write abt it!.!!!!!!
as long as i was ok after my aerobics, that always helps!!, then got mama's phonecall! :) best way to end a day..
oh and frieda got a piercing done today!.. i chickened out.. but maybe soon i shall build up the courage! :)))))

and my god was orchard crowded or what.. yess i dont really mind the crowds as much!

christmas eve rocked!

what great christmas eve.. never thot it cud be so much fun, thanks to tetty!! got home .. :) and cant sleep as usual!.. :) :) :) :) :) :)

i miss the pancakes at espresso on sundays.. and i miss the halwa puri at chatkharays! i had some regular jam toast and milk today! ahh.. but the VMA's were definately fun to watch. reminded me of old old times.. when i used to watch mtv like it was holy! lol.. great music always gets me in a great mood! and U2 is all im listening to these days..

an evening with haniah..

indeed it was an evening with haniah. it perhaps was not supposed to be like this but the new me doesnt take shit from anyone. i will not do anything to please someone! i do what i like, at my time! as prateek says.. no more pleasing ppl! haha
so i spent today walking around in orchard, listening to a lot of christmas carolling and bumping into a lot of ppl! yes its way too crowded over there, but hey i like ronaq. but i am most proud of the fact that i did not give into my ppl pleasing side and ate at a place i didnt want to eat at! was abt to.. to please ppl, but i was stronger! and oh yeaa the lasenza shopping spree.. wow! i have gotten such adorable stuff, one for saira too. dunno how i did it without mama! and my goodness how cud i forget my discovery of SEPHORA today... aaahh my fav brand!

all in all it was a fun evening with haniah, she's not too bad after all ;)

good tuesday..

ok firstly i discovered y my skin might be acting wierd is because my face wash expired over 7 months ago! and thus i went and bought myself a neutrogena face wash.. like good nazia advised me. and my god it is raining constantly here.. oh and yes "never wait fro STUPID bus number NR7" useless thing never showed up. i waited for 35 mins... kheir i managed to walk to the other station and get my regular one. and ahhh.. bugis is sucha treat.. great sales.. coffee, food! what more do u want!
and yes an unexpected phone call too.. well anyway i got good priced stuff today. and needed the usual boring milk, n bread stuff too. not the glamourous part of living alone but hey i gotta eat! especially when ur arm feel like they are going to be a foot longer by the time u get home! lol..

ive been listening to the corrs all day. but the new song "goodbye" is just beautiful. i dunno how they sound so good in each of their songs. their music has a way of making u feel good not forgetting the hard times. i spent the day at home today didnt even go for my lil walk today. but maybe thats because my whole body aches from the roller blade-ing yesterday. heck! it was worth it! :)

i also managed to make my favorite food! aloo ki bhujia, and damn it was good! ahhh.. finally i made edible food! yes i burnt it a bit.. but who cares! and yes i admit im absolutely terrible in the kitchen and thus i shud marry a chef otherwise we will both starve to death.. lol. jee haan im puttin up an ad now " looking for tall, handsome, chiseled features like a greek god, oh yea make good enuff money so we can goto paris when we feel like it ;).. and shud be mad abt me, and keep the parents happy too and offcourse if u have all this and dont like dogs then goodbye!" now is that too much to ask for... :)

and i have recently gotten proof of y i shud not even consider modelling as a career or a sub career either.. haha.. pleasee do not ask y!

today jess took us to the ogilvy flea market. an incredible building to start off with, it was a mela inside the office! food, games, prizes.. lucky draws! fun stuff.. my personal favorite 'hendrix room' :)

ah yes i burnt food today.. but i tried again and almost successfully made a burger and some mashed potatoe for myself. phew... ok next time i get this feeling imgonna chain myself down. i wasted too much today. but the weather was beautiful! rainyyy.. and then huma nawaz called too. hadnt heard her in the longest time. and the best part was i took my phone with me when i left the house when i cud have easily left it home since i was going for 5 mins. but i guess the good ol sixth sense does still work! and then frida mommy got ice-cream for us.. thus im stuffed tonight!!

one of the giggliest films i ever saw. but luved it! everybody looked great in the film and kiera can get into anyrole and do it well! like she has never played any other role.. gr8 actress. except for 'king arthur'.. worsttttt film!

sometimes when a song is in another language it seems to say exactly wat u want to say. it brings back a deja vu. i made an illustration on it last year. and suddenly i am transported back in time to when i was listening to the song and translating it thru my illustration. why do somethings break ur heart all over again even after so long. does that make me weaker or stronger, i dont know. id like to think it makes me stronger, cuz if it didnt kill me it made me stronger. thats y i love music in languages i dont understand because it leaves me thinking they say what i am feeling. and then i find out.. they really are!

today i did not take the bus like a lazy person. i walked all the way to the mrt station and got the groceries,the milk and went to mr bean which unfortunately isnt as jolly as jollybean! its not the same taste at all. but chalo koi nahin.. its edible. then walked all the way back home. its been a good day even thoh i didnt go anywhere.. as such ;)

the other side... adventures of haniah and rielka

what a day.... it was like a cross country race!..
it all started with me and rielka shopping around in bugis street, and suddenly realizing we are late to go to meet frieda for dinner. SO we hurry to the bus stop as F had explained. we break some rules goin there too. we get to a bus stop and it doesnt have bus no 51 on it. so we ask a girl whether theres another bus stop nearby, and she says yes yes.. walking distance actually. And H and R got to the other bustop where indeed bus no 51 does stop. so we wait and wait until the bus comes, upon entering we ask the driver to tell us when we cross china town mrt. and .... we are apparently on the wrong side. so he say go to 'the other side" (thats when this started), so we goto the other side only to find that theres no bus no 51 here.... so we ask the nest bus driver and he says... go to the other side of the building!!!!! and so we laugh a little and go to the other side and behold we find the bus stop where our bus stops.and the bus refuses to come,, finally the bus arrives. We get to the place we are... (think) we are supposed to get off.. and then we meet the "colored pens" dude!, he made a map for us to the galleria hotel in 6 different colors. omg.. lol.... it was too funny. we wanted to just say.. its ok to use one ink.. (promise)!!





then we godown further and find we are indeed lost again so we meet an indian dude, who takes us thru the middle of the road.. he certainly knew his way around the area. we find ourselves walking along the clarkquey area. definately nice to look at. but... boy did we walk for 2 and a half hours or wat!!!!!!!... then we ask another guy and he tells us.. oh (for the 5th time) its on the other side.. keep walking..!!! so we keep walking to the other side. finally we find the colorful bridge ive heard so much abt. once we reach there.. we almost cross it only to discover after asking a gora gentleman that we shud go back. so we head back.. and keep walking till we ask a smoking dude and he directs us to the "other side too"!!!! lol... we finally find the galleria hotel. R asks H if this is the "seng kee" building and H thinks she is telling her.. so she says yea yea.. lol. only after putting the phone down fo we discover that we are still not at the right building. we ask one more dude and finalllyyyyyyyy we make it to the place!!!!!!!!!

dinner was fabulous. tofu with rice!! then green tea ice cream with mochi!.. and to top off our day of adventure we had shirly temples at riverside cafe. :)
