this is the time of the semester when i am in a trance. tomorrow is the big presentation and im so scared.... stressed...tranced out! = i walk and talk like normal but my mind is constantly stressing abt tom.

me, nad and frid had some good retail therapy (gap)!... actually browsing only... but believe me it helps! :D

nothing to say! except.... thank god for nadya!!! what wud i have done without her.. id still be lying on orchard! :(

night off!

went to orchard after a looooooooong time! i havent been to orchard since i got back, 2 whole weeks!!!! rielka took us to a resturant called "nooch", great food!
alas... plus.. im in a very confused state of mind. im thinking about whther i shud work here for a year or not.!?!?.,....@&&(#&$^#@_

aj's farewell dinner and movie. tonight we watched the movie 'blood diamond', damn good movie. if u havent seen it you have to go and see it immediately. and rem to ask for conflict free diamonds... dunno if the term wud even be understood in pakistan. but hey.. atleast we know! then we went to BK.. for dinner. and the best was clarke quay, that place i can never get enough of. :)

tis the season to be jolly!

so what the hell i was jolly today!! all day.. HO HO HO !!
and my god was orchard crowded or what.. yess i dont really mind the crowds as much!

an evening with haniah..

indeed it was an evening with haniah. it perhaps was not supposed to be like this but the new me doesnt take shit from anyone. i will not do anything to please someone! i do what i like, at my time! as prateek says.. no more pleasing ppl! haha
so i spent today walking around in orchard, listening to a lot of christmas carolling and bumping into a lot of ppl! yes its way too crowded over there, but hey i like ronaq. but i am most proud of the fact that i did not give into my ppl pleasing side and ate at a place i didnt want to eat at! was abt to.. to please ppl, but i was stronger! and oh yeaa the lasenza shopping spree.. wow! i have gotten such adorable stuff, one for saira too. dunno how i did it without mama! and my goodness how cud i forget my discovery of SEPHORA today... aaahh my fav brand!

all in all it was a fun evening with haniah, she's not too bad after all ;)

friday the... 1st! :)

make up makeup and more make up! and a decision to never become a model... lol.. its way too hard. i suddenly have loads of respect for them! ;)

of fried rice and christmas decorations..

today i had a meetring with NOT Mr. but Dr Bill Gilham (not graham) hehe.. that went quite well, except i discovered that he dislikes US and Canada! and he belongs to a club where women arent allowed!... saad right! it is a third world country there in england! way to go saad!

onto orchard i went..


then had lunch with rilke.. (cyrilla) she is one of the fun-est ppl i know in spore! land of the 'rules'! also got my Mac battery.. thankgod!!.. lets hope it works. and offcourse how i i go home without eating my japanese pancake! me n rielke shud not be let out alone.. we wud end up eating all day.. lol.. we like the same sort of things!
and..

a strange happiness was felt when i puchased a non stick pot!.. lol.. cuz i thot of how it wud be easier to clean! hahaha.. the lil joys of life. but honestly the last time i cooked red beans it was a nightmare cleaning it and i swore i wud not ever make it again in the same pot!

Afternoon was spent unpacking and surfing and sorting out stuff.. still cant find one imp document... hmm.. inshallah shall find it soon. oh anddddd.... i set up my WEBCAM!! it works.. isight works!!! hurrahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Evening was spent at orchard... beautiful as it was. me n frida went to food republic where i re-discovered "Phad Thai" (thai noodles) yummy!!.. and my fav spring rolls!!! then had to go get a hairbrush and a lipliner both i left back home. and off to the grocery store it was.. got all the food i needed. i think ill survive now :) "long live Patto"!!! then frida treated me to some ice fruit tea at NYDC (New York Destinys Child). had a yum japanese pancake too!!.. indeed it was deeeeeelicious! came home to find a dirty fridge so guess what... it was cleaing time. me n frida cleaned out the whole fridge and almost died doing it. got to my room and decided its been too long since i exercised!! so i did that too... good productive day id say.. rather nite!! :)
