T-1 day to KL

saw one of the most 'chinese' display for the chinese new year celebrations behind simlim. I even found the only chinese cookies we know of in pakistan. along with a few hundred more.... wow i have never seen so many types of local cookies. and the red color was all over the place. and in the middle of the square was a huge statue of this chinese dude. pretty grand!

T-2 days to go

and so the excitement builds up. i know i have a lot of work to do, and im very worried about that too. but...... a part of me kweps Yahoo-ing!!! cant help it, especially after i told Nur and she was happy!!!.. bought the skirts and they are not my size! darn it... thank god frieda is here. ill get them changed with her tom. had a very strange fruit salad today called "Rujok". it was pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts, bean curd, and some other stuff i dont rem. all fried and topped off with peanuts! heres a pic of that and.. my fav area in singapore;Bugis!

PS: Malaysia... is only 2 days away....

bus tour

today i discovered two buses which take me to recognizeable places. That means i can finally roam around in singapore and not get lost! i discovered a very different market today. it was on top of a hawker center. there were so many people there buying all sorts of wierd cried stuff.. from dry fuit to dried fish! yea the smell was too much for me and i wanted to jump off the second floor. But all that was forgotten when i found what i was looking for; a cheap t-shirt shop! plus the sales lady was terribly sweet. i didnt have the heart to tell her i just came to check prices!

plus i made pasta again, this time with sauted mushrooms as the chefs call it! and then i had a brownie.. seriously this place with alll its amazing stuff does not have the brownies like back home! they might have been expensive but the size was worth it. here the size is tiny and the price is more!! :(

and i did! it was really yummy even the coconut itself which i have never liked b4. its a start of a beautiful friendship :)!

mid week shopping spree

good tuesday..

ok firstly i discovered y my skin might be acting wierd is because my face wash expired over 7 months ago! and thus i went and bought myself a neutrogena face wash.. like good nazia advised me. and my god it is raining constantly here.. oh and yes "never wait fro STUPID bus number NR7" useless thing never showed up. i waited for 35 mins... kheir i managed to walk to the other station and get my regular one. and ahhh.. bugis is sucha treat.. great sales.. coffee, food! what more do u want!
and yes an unexpected phone call too.. well anyway i got good priced stuff today. and needed the usual boring milk, n bread stuff too. not the glamourous part of living alone but hey i gotta eat! especially when ur arm feel like they are going to be a foot longer by the time u get home! lol..
