perfume; the story of a murderer

such a sick tale of an insane man, told ever so beautifully as if it were about a story from the bible! omg.. this movie was disgustingly creepy. The thought of such power brought on from the perfume of 13 women is sick!! but i cud not help but wonder during the end of it, that perhaps thats y we muslims are advised not to use perfumes with alcohol in them. Perhaps that preservative power is something that shud not be in our power. hmm... i dunno

but i wonder to what extent i believe in the power of perfume. i know it can relax you and excite you, but only for a second. not constantly!! but still it was brilliantly shot (the movie)! the end was especially horrifying....

my fav part!: when the dog finds the murderers stuff in the dirt. thus the evil insane dude is caught!

the prestige

i know they say life isnt a movie. but i have witnessed otherwise. Life infact is a movie. tonight i watched the movie 'the prestige' and by the end of the movie i was myslef irritated and frustrated with the end. It was a movie which left me feeling cold for the characters. i did not for the first time feel good or bad for any of the characters. but what happened to me after was amazing.

a little magic of my own... earlier in the day i lost my headphone's (one of) rubber cover, any of u with a sony ericsson wud know which ones im talking abt. well i lost and and looked all over for it. In the bus, in my bag.. everywhere. and as i got up to turn the internet on after the movie so i cud blog abt it. guess what i find upon my return to my bed...? yes i found the cover in my bed. hahah.. i was so shocked at first as to how if i lost the cover in the bus (rather discovered it was missing), how did it end up in my bed.

after thinking a bit i did discover how it got there.. but i cant possibly disclose that here. ;)

perhaps it was magic! ;D

continued movie!

finally i completed the movie i saw on the emirates airplane on the way back from turkey in 2005...

rainy day so gotta step it up ;)

aj's farewell dinner and movie. tonight we watched the movie 'blood diamond', damn good movie. if u havent seen it you have to go and see it immediately. and rem to ask for conflict free diamonds... dunno if the term wud even be understood in pakistan. but hey.. atleast we know! then we went to BK.. for dinner. and the best was clarke quay, that place i can never get enough of. :)

monday movie

one of the giggliest films i ever saw. but luved it! everybody looked great in the film and kiera can get into anyrole and do it well! like she has never played any other role.. gr8 actress. except for 'king arthur'.. worsttttt film!
