did a lot of rearch today.. discovered the LAN cable in thr library, the Power switch. so now i can get my macs cable too... among other interesting sites...hehe..! then rewarded myself with a muffin and frappucino at starbucks! then paid a visit to my fav places... zara, far east and got a free yoga class for tom from tue yoga!!.. took this pic on the way home on a bus stop!

24th of the Eighth Month

today was a good day with a good class. adn a great dinner! i tried to write from the cafeteria today but the connection was too slow.. infact too slow to even run msn!.. hmm .. maybe i was too far from the source. paid a visit to "cold storage" and got maple syruo finallyyyy..... and some dried apricots. yum! then jess made us dinner... how sweet was that!!...

went to a singapore local place for dinner. veryyyy interesting...
chicken rice was like pulao. it was in a pyramid shape.. although i got this pic from the internet. so it isnt the same looking.. but this is what im talking abt!! but the rest was all different. it was nonetheless yum!! the veggies were good too.. lots of chilli in them.. i accidentally ate to much chilli. !! heheh.. the ice ka chung is the second dish in the pic. i didnt have this tonight but had it a few days back.. it was quite yum. it had corn in it too. its our desi gola ganda with a singaporian twist!
a very cool experience.
a call from mama made the day complete... =)

saw this movie today, it really said a lot to me. one shud always let the other person know that u appreciate them. its just so many small things, but they really matter in the bigger picture to keep it together. well like i wud know anything abt relationships.. but nonetheless this was a worth watching movie!

dinner at wheelock

had a great dinner tonight with my class....as usual i was missing home and missing my simba jaani in the morning.. went to orchard (my evening spot) heheheh.. oh how i love that road! went there met aj and went to a class dinner! it was the 7 of us. its so cold in all these malls and resturnts! that one just freezes inside without a jacket.it was a lotta fun... then had some local ice-cream too. which almost melted on moi. phewww... ! all in all... good evening!

day 2wenty1

day 21.. omg! i dont believe it.. its been 21 days! everysingle day ive missed home. the day started with lasalle and a lecture on showstudio. which was a really great concept. ive heard and seen such online magazines, but no one that has gone this far in their mission to make ppl see the process of creativity. I loved it. Penny was such a good speaker, her enthusiasm really made the entire lecture fabulous. Loved the energy! and the idea of how they used webcams and cellphones and interactive media really was fantastic. i mean thats what i always think.. when i saw orkut i used it for research! then went to the mall and ended up eating a wierd curry nan for lunch.. nope lemme re-phrase that... almost ate a cn for lunch. it was wierd and not nice so i left it.... wasnt able to do my aerobic completely. that was a bit sad, thus i feel wierd rt now. so tom morning b4 my shower this s wht im doing. hmmm... there... happy now! then momi baji came to my place!... how fun was that!!! then we went to pastamania.. yum yum!! loved the food there. got home and sigh.... mama called! :)

day 2wenty

day 20... was a good day. started with coco-pops and choc mousse cake (thanks to frieda's mom). it was yum! then went to lasalle for my session with Bill Gilham. got some high tech print card.. !! then got my print out! then had some wedges for lunch, and then it became time for the session. The session went quite well, what a cute grandpa sort guy! he was very sweet. then i was exposed to a fine art show.. exhibit. which was interesting but offcourse it went straight over my head!! lol.. oh well i was never the deep artsy types. Hurried off to jiya's mom then, had the most delicious dinner. and then todays discovery:
far east plaza and.. ice katchula!!!!!!! its shave ice with fruits (local). then it was time to head home with the articles from home.. meds meds and a bed cover!! moms are the best!

day 9teen

day 19...
this blog is going to be my singapore diary! the day started with a lil sad feeling left on from the night before. got up to discover i was for once up on time and had lots of time to get dressed. the buses introduce to so many people you never say anywords to, yet you see them and all these people are going into the same direction you are. All these people of different races, religion... it is an experience worth mentioning. then got to college late, cuz the bus got delayed! lunch is always such a chore... what does one find to feed oneself! so once that was done me n a friend moved out to mall hopping. had the yummiest cin pretzel today. i shud have taken a pic of it but it was too yummy i ate it instantly.heheh it rained so much today... too much infact. i was drenched.. the pic is of lasalle drenched! spent the evening at a gt for MA students. nicely organized... then spent the time at home eating, exercising and oh yea... talked to rabs!!!!!!
